Hi again. Yes I can confirm that because it uses bluetooth, the power consumption is very good. If you google it, compared to MiWi, this bluetooth method is much better on power consumption.

I am looking for a rubber or such like skin that is good quality, fits right and has grip. Links would be great. I am willing to spend a bit for quality but if there are any cheap ones people can recommend... thanks

Tetherme for iPhone= $2 iTether for iPad = $5 Bought and installed both earlier and work like a charm! Battery is great, although I didn't use MiWi so couldn't compare. so if you get a chance..do it. It's soo easy. Also (depending on signal) it's really good speed.

But isn't frash depandant on you clicking on every flash item? Therefore unless you're doing that it's not really an indication yet. The real test will come with flash video.

While it is true that not many devices do have hardware brightness control, c'mon this is apple..they normally think of this stuff. As a major contender in the ebook sector now, the iPad will likely take over the kindle for ebooks and having a manual adjuster on the side for late night reading...

1. A manual screen brightness on the side and 2. Speakers on each side of the iPad I really can't see how these things got through testing. As the iPad is awesome to read things from, going into settings to adjust brightness is just sooo annoying. If they're in Gen 2, I'll be so annoyed. Also...
