Well, it's nothing short of amazing. My iPad left Lantau Island on the 22nd (they are a day ahead of us). The iPad went to Anchorage getting there yesterday morning, cleared customs then on to Oakland, CA, up to Portland, OR and then trucked the rest of the way. Believe me, I live in the toolies...

Today I received a online special brochure from Costco. They have "Hard Candy Cases iPad Street Skin and Bubble Sleeve Bundle available in pink or black. Online price $69.99 -$20.00 off for a total of $49.99 delivered". One is a skin and the other a sleeve... This might not be a bad deal...

Just saw where my iPad was cleared through customs in Anchorage today. That means it is clear for takeoff to Memphis and on it's second to last final journey before I get it tomorrow. Yes, I am optimistic that they will deliver it just squeaking by the estimate that we were given at the start.;)

Things are starting to move.....mine showed up in Anchorage at 6:00 AM this morning. Now for customs then onto Memphis hub and out to final destinations.

Things are starting to happen now after 4 days in exile on Lantau Island. I received the update that my iPad arrived in Anchorage at 0600 this morning. My delivery date is still tomorrow March 23 by 4:30 pm. I guess after the shipment clears customs it's on to Memphis, back to Portland, OR...

My iPad 2 left shenzhen, China at 9:38pm on the 17th. It was in transit to Lantau Island and arrived at the FedEx facility at 11:50 pm on the 18th. I checked the distance between Shenzhen and Lantau and by air it is 20 miles! I know that there is a time change but.......
