Hi Since upgrading to IOS 5 I can't delete emails,if I hit edit the only options shown are to archive or move. I'v tried deleting and reinstalling the email account (gmail) but I can't see why this is happening. I had the option to delete before. Any ideas? TIA

Thanks but no, none are open. I haven't been using any since it reset cos of the wifi. And yes, as I said I've reset too. Let's hope a genius comes along soon. Yoohoo geniuses!!

What do you mean by deleted all open apps? And by hard reset do tou mean holding down both ipad buttons together? I had hoped to do it as you did but this has been days now and I am getting nowhere.

Thank you all for the replies. I should have said that I have tried all of that! (Sorry been away this weekend or would have replied earlier). Yes I have rebooted the router and also rest the ipad. Just done both again now. Remember that my other devices are connecting to the home wifi okay...

My ipad 1 won't connect to my home wifi all of a sudden. It connects to BT FON and BT Open zone if I let it but they are weak signals and next to useless so I have disabled them (forget network). My other devices connect ok to home network (laptop, phone) so I think it's the ipad. It is asking...

Went away came back and realised that when I had reloaded it with exchange and then used m.google/sync I had deleted my old outlook calendar on my ipad(deliberately) but that prior to that I had not had 'all calendars selected' simply cos the outlook one was confusing things. DefBref are you looking at your calendar in safari or on the default ipad calendar?

This is frustrating. I have now tried just about everything including reloading with microsoft exchange rather than caldav, then selecting all the calendars in m.google/sync to show. They still DO nOT show on the ipad calendar so I have put an icon on the screen to shortcut to the clendar via...

Yes they are showing if I open the calendar in safari but no luck with the calendar function. I don't think it's supported. I don't know the IOS, how do I find out? It's 59gb 3G ipad bought Sep'10.
