Iphone 3gs is stuck on disabled screen, its says to connect to itunes however when I hook it up to iTunes it says it's locked. The home button works but the power button to turn it on and off does not. how can i fix this problem so that I can access the iphone:( please help!

My laptop is over 3 years old and getting a little slow. I had to remove most of the music from it and put it on a flash drive. If I open the flash drive with iTunes and hook up my iPods or iPads will it sync the music that way.
