Very occasionally I need to know whether an important email sent on my IPad in Gmail has reached the recipient
Does anyone know how this can be done
It is only very occasionally as my use of emails is just personal as I am a retired person
I have got the App and have tried it on a letter which I received which I need to scan and send to a contact.
My Ipad is Ipad 2 - I am not sure whether it is the camera but the scanned copy is not clear enough to send out - I will persevere and see whether I can improve on the first attempt...
Hi Marilyn - here is the reply I received from Dropbox Support
"Hi Keith,
Printing isn't currently a feature of Dropbox unfortunately."
The good news is that I have continued to use the HP print App as a work around to the problem.
Hi again,
Got sidetracked by other things and have only just returned to the subject of installing a good scanner App.
My Ipad is Ipad 2.
Does Scanner Pro just scan a single page or can you scan multiple pages to turn it into a document ?
Thanks,:)
I will contact Dropbox support.
In the meantime I have got the HP free app and have printed a Word doc as it can print from Dropbox which is great
I will try it again tomorrow.
Thank you Marilyn.
Dropbox app is up to date.
I select a doc in Dropbox it asks me to select a printer - it sees my HP air print printer I select it - I select print - I get the usual sending to printer message and then nothing happens.
I will as you suggest contact the developer - never...
Still struggling with this problem.
My data - home/ personal documents mainly word and excel are in Dropbox which I really like - just need to find an app that will print my stuff in Dropbox from my Ipad - can't print directly from Dropbox - tried last night - selected print and nothing...
Yes but I select the printer select print and nothing happens - I can print from other applications on the Ipad but not Quck Office HD Pro or Dropbox which are vital ones
I have downloaded the free version but it seems that I have to pay a fee to print - Is there anything similar which is compatible with Dropbox and has a printing capacity built in?
Thank you.
I have downloaded the App but my documents ( which are numerous ) on the HD Pro version were in Dropbox on my PC and I could edit in thd HD version and it would sync across.
I am not all that conversant with IT.
The free version I have just downloaded seems to link to Google Drive...
Thanks Marilyn :) - that is very helpful because there are so many apps available and I have tried a couple and have been disappointed.
The scanner pro seems to be just what I am looking for.
I use Evernote and Dropbox quite a lot so the ability to scan to those would be great.
I will take...
I have a scanner on my printer but I tend to use my Ipad rather than the PC.
Occasionally I need to scan in a letter or a document and send it out.
What is the best way of scanning on an Ipad?
