I use the LogiTech keyboard which is very light and also serves as a case. It's a bit expensive, but I think it's great.

How can I use DropBox to sync my apps but still keep separate files in separate apps? (e.g. keeping photos only in a photo app, and pdfs only in my pdf annotation apps). Is this possible?? Or do I need separate online spaces to sync between my pc and the different apps? Sorry if this question is...

Thanks, everyone. I'm going to explore Notability a bit more now to actually see what it offers. Marlow, I often use a stylus and find that different apps take to it very differently. Right now I'm testing out 7Notes HD because it converts handwriting to text as you go along.

Can I message people with iPhones as well, or only iPads? And how do I 'find' them??

I downloaded this yesterday after reading this thread and I think this app is GREAT!! And it exports notes directly to Evernote which is brilliant too so it's easily synced to all my devices.
