My new iPad2 is now in an Otterbox defender case with one of their screen protectors fitted but I will be switching to the Griffin Survivor case ASAP.
So far my iPad has only been to work each day... no overseas trips yet. last year this MacBookPro went with me to India (doing venom...
One thing I noticed when I called into the Apple reseller last Saturday was that they are selling screen protectors..... so maybe they have a more realistic opinion of the durability of the screen..... or they want to make more money selling accessories?
Either way, I don't want to take the...
I paid $89.95 + $21.44 shipping to the UK, total $111:44
I'll probably stick it on UK Amazon or e-bay.... but I could send it over to the USA.... I'd be thinking of something like $20 for the case and $15 shipping.

initially i was told that scratches were considered cosmetic damage and not covered by the warrantee.... I showed them the Otterbox case that arrived today and said how I had been trying to protect my iPad as best...
Thanks, I will call in on the way home tonight and see what they say.
My Otterbox Defender case has just arrived from the USA... could have done with it a week or so earlier me thinks ;)
Some interesting points there mrquod. I work in Liverpool, UK so I'm a frequent visitor to the Apple Store there and I bought my MacBookPro and iPod nano from there... thing is I desperately wanted an iPad2 on release day. I went past the Liverpool Apple store at 7:45 am and there were already...
