Hi Go to Settings - Sounds and you have a choice of ringtones. You can also assign different ring tones to different people, do this via Contacts (must have them in your contacts to assign a tone). Hope this helps.

On the home page of my ipad2' a few centimetres above the email folder and the Photos folder, there are 3 tiny icons, one is a magnifying glass (like a search icon) and the others are 2 small circles. I never see the magnifying glass highlighted but the small circles are sometimes highlighted...

I power off my ipad2 each night, as I find leaving it in sleep mode it still uses up battery power. However, when I switch it off it can take up to 25 seconds for the while rotating circle to stop, and therefore off. Should it take as long as this? I am on ios5, and before upgrading to that...

Hi Yes, that is what I am experiencing but have to say that when loading it can sometimes stall for 30 seconds or longer.
