    Bah! Thanks for the suggestion, though! Too bad Apple exerts so much control over their store. Guess, sometimes that control is good, sometimes its bad.

    I have a great little app for my Droid phone called Wifi Analyzer. It allows me to see the signal strength of Wifi networks it can detect. Is there anything like that available for the iPad? I've looked on the marked but the only ones I could see have been apps that help you find free wifi...

    Apple's attitude annoys me

    If you are in IT for your dealership, why not contact vendors that sell directly to businesses? That is what we did. I ordered an iPad2 for a demo unit at the firm I work for and got it within 2 weeks. Not terribly fast, but it came faster than if we had gone directly to Apple or to another store.

    I got an iPad for the family the other day and after using it for a while, it got me thinking: are there any plans to add user accounts to the OS (or as it is a mutiple device OS, than just to the iPad?)? That way, I could sign into the device and have my email configured, sites saved, etc. and...

    Sounds just like the junk retailers used to pull when the Wii or XBox came out...they wouldn't sell without the bundles. Kind of stinks... Sorry you left empty handed!

    Ipad/bath

    I've also heard, along with putting it in rice, that you should put it somewhere it is warm - like on the back of a tube TV. There is juuuust enough heat coming off of that kind of TV all of the time to keep it at a good temp. You don't want it too hot. Helps with drying the device out quicker.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as major versions, I believe that about 90% of Android devices are on 2.x (using the same scope as this article, 4.x).
