Dekyon is absolutely right. However even if they had tested more users, it still doesn't take into account all the jailbroken iPads that have users who never buy apps at all and just steal them all.
Wrecklass, to be fair, 3G on AT&T probably isn't capable of it as AT&T really is a pretty crappy provider. If it was Verizon 3G, or probably even Sprint 3G then that would be a world of difference.
I agree with the others, though I imagine everyone is. While my iPad is not jailbroken, and probably never will be, I do believe that everyone should have the right to do with their device as they please.
Now if you jailbreak it and then try to sell it in a retail environment still hacked then...
Personally I don't think I would really need to have an iPad on my desktop computer, but certainly would take it as a feature if that's the way the iMacs go and I was in the market for an iMac, which in a year or two I just may be in the market for.
