    Downloading it now

Downloaded to my iPad Air, over the air (as has been done with every update starting way back with iPad 2), with no problems. Did a reboot. Everything seems to be working OK. Next is exploration of newbies.

    The Case For/Against Updating

At least with Apple you have a choice to not take an update. With the Amazon Fires, you 'vill' get an update whether you want it or not. And when you least expect it.

Do you know why? It's on my Air and works fine.

    iOS 9.3 Is Available

Update seems to work well. Heard that battery usage is significantly increased. Looking forward to verifying that. The Night Shift is great! As usual, Apple seems to have done another excellent job with an update. ETA: By the way, starting with iPad 2 in 2012, have done every update OTA with...

    Often Wondered...

Sorry for not being clear. There is a switch in settings for turning the magnetic locking cover's affect on the iPad on or off. So that if you have a locking cover, you can set the switch to off so the cover's locking ability would be rendered nill. Question is why would one want to do that...

    Often Wondered...

In settings-general-lock/unlock option is available. Why would one want to have a cover that can, not lock and unlock the IPad screen?

Have experienced that too. Aggravating. Turning it off and then back on doesn't always cancel the data. Seems to be hit or miss though. Usually do my reboots, if possible, when ready to charge.

Discovered the bold text thing recently too. Nice little adjunct in lieu of retina display.
