On my Pro 12, iOS 9.2, I'm unable to start a sentence with quote marks ("). I have to type a letter first, then type the symbol, then go back and delete the initial letter. Boring! Is it me or Apple?

Hey IHA, after reading your post I tried drawing on the same part of the screen with my finger rather than my targus stylus (something I *never* usually do). This time there was no blank patch, no matter how lightly I pressed. Tested in Notes, GoodNotes4 and Explain Everything.

I was all set to upgrade this morning, and then I went to the Apple support site to report this problem. I saw too many posts talking about 9.3 hassles and I lost my nerve. ;)

Oh I'll try it alright, but I ain't buyin' it. Not until this issue is resolved. So it's still there in iOS 9.3.1? Won't be upgrading to that either. I am disappointed. Crestfallen, even. I can feel the smirks of derision from my Surface Pro buddies already.
