My guess is another app is open ,even if no running, so lack of ram crashes it. With only 256 mb ram there is nothing to spare so crashes. Usual way is to tap home twice until all apps in ram appear at bottom then hold till minus sign appears on left a nd tap minus sign yo fully close them...
