What a dumb-arse I am. I see that storage takes a few seconds to load all the apps and I went right to 'maintain storage' and it was indeed the icloud backup I kept looking at. So, I was able to delete the Plex app and reinstall it. Yea......a huge thanks for not giving up on an idiot!

I think I'll just try to see if I can restore from a backup. If not, I guess a reset is the only answer.

Yes. Now under Usage, it shows it off Plex is set to off but it won't delete it in the Storage screen. It shows up nowhere else on the Ipad.

Thanks for the idea, never thought of that. I did turn it off and now it shows 'no data' next to the Plex icon but when I go to install it again, the same thing happens.....it wants me to open the app but pressing open does nothing and there is still no app showing.

Last week there was an update for Plex and it never finished. I left it alone for a while and then noticed the update was gone as well as the app itself. It's no where on the screen. I went to updates again and searched for Plex and it shows it already installed and if I press the 'open'...

So far, that's all I've been able to do to stop it......turn off auto sync. It's no use to me if it isn't working right.

Yes, sjleworthy is correct. You do have to turn the ipad and itunes off and start over. I didn't have to but other posts I've read on another forum have mentioned this.

For those who have sync working, once you close iTunes, does it keep opening up on it's own every few minutes? I had to turn sync off as nothing I did after syncing would stop iTunes from continually opening. It seemed to keep looking for the ipad to sync and with the cover closed, could not...

Sorry, I think I 'sped read' over your post. I didn't even see it but I certainly understood it after I just read it. It really has a few bugs from what I can see so they shouldn't brag about it just yet.

For me, it's working but not correctly. First, even after I shut down iTunes and close the ipad cover, iTunes keeps reopening every few minutes on it's own. And, with a battery life of 83%, unplugged, the ipad successfully syncs......not even plugged into the wall. What I guess I have to do is...

Mine were where they belonged but I lost 2 that I had to add from my backup. Not sure why as I could find nothing similar about the 2 books that they would be omitted.

I just figured it out. Plug your Ipad into your system and in the Summary tab of your device, go to Options and check the box "Sync with this Ipad over wi-fi". Click apply and then unplug the ipad and shut down iTunes. Plug the device into the power unit and start iTunes. Give it a few...

Mine says the same thing.....sync will resume when <computer name> is available. It is available and plugged in. The Sync Now button is greyed out. iCloud is working as is home networking. What's up?
