No problem.....it's a great case for the price

In the portrait mode the lower 2 notches work, but the top one doesn't.

Yeah....the lower notch doesn't stay up in landscape for me, but all the other positions work fine for me.

Any idea why it shows that?

When I exit the garage band app, the top bar is red and says recording for a split second....why? And if it is recording, where does it go?

Upon your review, I decided to take a stab at the cygnett ant-glare screen protector. I'm really impressed, and for $7.99, you can't beat it. Screen's protected, glare and smudges reduced, and my pocket book isn't depleted....works for me.
