1st one I walked up to the Apple store on opening day right before closing and bought one. (stood in line 15 minutes) 2nd one I waited 8 working days because both local Apple stores were out I won't drive more than 30 miles for any non-necessity that can be delivered. ;)

As long as you don't have openssh running your fine. install SBSettings and make sure openssh is turned off

If you install/run OpenSSH you'll want to change your root password / default admin password to something not easily hacked. Google the process.

Some apps it works great on and others font handle it well. Where it does work it's well worth it.

I was wondering this and hadn't tried it yet. I was going to try it this weekend with video. I'll let you know if I have any luck. I'll also check cydia for a jailbreak app for this.

I think the iPad/phone has some validity as a desktop/BT set up. Other than this (for me), a cell phone is far more convenient, lighter, smaller and designed for phone calls. Add a camera, real BT headset option, and video conferencing.....THEN the iPad, as a phone, will have a real use for me.
