It’s not loaded on my iPad, nor do I see it in the App Store. Anyone know?

I can add the “Weather” item to the Today view, which implies that there’s something on my iPad Pro that is a weather app...puzzling..

There’s no built in Weather app for the iPad. As you’ve noticed, you can add it to your Today view as a widget.

You have to allow location access it in Privacy - Location Services - Weather, though, or else it won’t show anything.

@ Padcatt - in addition to the widget suggestion and as you likely already know, there are plenty of excellent weather apps available, free or at modest cost - my iPad's 'weather and news' folder contains 3 weather apps (as shown below) - Carrot & Dark Sky have been highly rated and also well reviewed, both are available at low cost. Dave :)
