I-pad-3 Case Hoot ?

I have the I-Pad 3(16GB-WIFI Only-Black) and LOVE it !! But, after about 10 minutes of use the lower left back corner of the device(even through a rear protector , clear, hard case cover) gets warm to hot. This never happened with my I-Pad 2. The new I-Pad 3 runs great, no issues at all-but this warm/heat issue in the rear botoom left concerns me. Anyone else notice this ?
I kind of assumed it was the new processor heating up.

It the battery which has 70% greater capacity. Put it inside a case and you wont notice it nearly as much.
