Synching audio books by chapter/track instead of by chapter title

I have an audio book that has 57 separate chapters/tracks. When I synched it onto my iPad, it ordered by chapter title rather than by chapter numbers. How can I get it to play in order on the iPad, or at least delete it and re-synch?
Help is greatly appreciated.
