Remember, search is your friend. You can download the manual for your iPad here http://support.apple.com/manuals/ and in iBooks search for "iPad user guide for" and you will find free comprehensive manuals for both iOS 4, 5, 6, etc.

Please checkout Gabriel's links and get the iPad manual onto your device. As a refresher for myself and better understanding of the new iOS (6.x), I just purchased the Kindle edition of the new book (5th edition by Gary Rosenzweig) below from Amazon ($11 only) - good luck & hope to see you posting!
