Moon, clouds, water - change of the scenery within 15 minutes
Thank you, Robert!
Dave, when you visit MV, you can stay in the cabin John Wayne used when making Ford's films. It's about 200' from where I shot that photo.
I suspect you'd need to reserve it long in advance, though...and it probably ain't cheap.
Crescent Moon over an office building.
I found this picture of it.
Hey Lanny - the cabin story intrigued me, so did some searching. The John Wayne Cabin & Museum are part of the Goulding Lodge and Resort, who settled the area in the 1920s - Harry Goulding convinced John Ford to film in Monument Valley; the cabin was used by 'Mike' Goulding as her potato cellar and was used for exterior shots in She Wore a Yellow Ribbon - the inside is a mini-museum w/ Wayne memorabilia, so not really available for rental - more info in the quotes below (Source). Some pics and a nice video showing the inside of the Wayne Cabin which was never used in any Ford films; also, a bunch of good pics from TripAdvisor - Dave
P.S. Video will run w/ the link, sorry.
P.S.S. Forgot to add the quotes below - from the link above.

Just finished our last hummingbird banding session at the Sedona (Arizona) Hummingbird Festival. This is the view from our room (that's Bell Rock in the center), and the banding was done on the right side of the courtyard.
