Heads up, Match-3 fans! Playrix has announced today that Fishdom HD will be its first iPad game; it's expected to be available in the App Store by mid-September. Fishdom on iPad is an HD adaptation of the award-winning match-3 downloadable title of the same name.
In the game, players earn cash by progressing through match-3 boards and solving puzzles to earn virtual cash. They can then use their winnings to buy exotic fish, ornaments, and plants to create and design their very own aquarium. On completion of levels, players will be rewarded with Cups allowing extra bonuses. Fishdom's gameplay is designed to adapt to each individual user's skills and pace, offering exactly the level of difficulty a player feels comfortable with.
The popular downloadable Fishdom franchise counts six installments in total, including the recently launched sequel Fishdom 2. Fishdom first appeared in 2008, and subsequently won numerous Best Game awards, including the iParenting Media Award as Best Video Game of 2009.
