Good evening,
I want help on my I pad 2 regarding YouTube. I want to know why is not my iPad working with YouTube. The last video was the video " assassin's creed literal" after that my YouTube app, when opened, shows a black background.
NOTE( my iPad is not a jail broken device and I don't intend jail breaking it)
Thank You

Maybe it was still on full screen? So it was left with a "blackscreen"... Or...
Try completely closing the app (including in the multi-taskbar) then restart your iPad.

Low bandwidth might be a possible culprit. Check your connection and strength. Some providers like schools will block things like YouTube.

Try this (from another thread w same problem)...

If you have not done so, try these common fixes.

------------------

When you have problems with an app it's a good idea to clear it from RAM.

Close/Clear the app: With the problem app closed, double tap on the Home button to get the multitask bar. Tap and hold on any icon in the bar until they jiggle, then tap the minus sign on the problem app. This will remove it from RAM and insure a clean start the next time you launch the app.

If that does not work try a restart,

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends you restart the iPad at least once a month.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.

Hold down the home button ant a bottom bar of aps should come up hold down on one of the apps and bolth the apps will wiggle and there will be a red minus in the corner of all of the recent apps in the bottom bar you must then press all of the red minuses until all of the recent apps are gone especially the youtube app after that click the home button again to close that bar and then reopen youtube and it should work if that soes not work then i would next try to restart my ipad.
