Word processing app for ipad2

This is my first apple product so I'm learning! I am looking for a word processing app that will edit Office 2010 documents. I am planning on integrating the iPad into my classroom however all my documents and presentations are in office. I also am using dropbox to transfer files to and from my laptop. I have rad the reviews on pages and I see that there is no dropbox option and it is not compatible with the office 2010 suite. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Not sure about Office 2010 but all following apps are compatible with docx & xlsx and intregates with cloud (dropbox etc.).

I have Pages and it works just fine with Office 2010 documents. But you're right, there's no direct way of using DropBox.
