Have the word genius app on my ipad 2 and it works fine, i can go to settings and change the board size, time limit, and word length. I purchased a second ipad 2 and installed the same app but it will NOT allow me to make changes in the settings. It registers the change but when I click save it kicks me out of the app. I have uninstalled the app and reloaded it but it still wont allow changes. Any ideas why?

When apps or the iPad behave "badly," you can try one of two things (or both) - a restart or a reset. If you don't know, here's how to do them:

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears.

Reset: Hold both the power and home buttons until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo then appears (the slide to unlock screen may or may not appear). Once the logo appears, release the buttons. After a time, your homescreen will appear. Please note that it may take some time for the Apple logo to appear or for your homescreen to appear (or both). This is normal. Eventually, the homescreen will appear.

It's amazing how many times either of these, or both, help to get the iPad to work better. Please let us know how you get on - particularly if you're not amazed and your problem still exists.

I tried this already and no change. Any other suggestions?
