Wi-Fi not working in hotel

Hi, can anyone help. I can get wi-fi at home okay, but when i take my ipad to hotels i sometimes have a problem connecting to the wi-fi. It reconises the hotel wi-fi but will not connect

Are you trying to connect from a browser on the iPad? You usually need to go through a sign-in page first to get it activated.

I experienced the same connection problems after flying having used airplane mode try switching airplane mode on and off again this resolved the problem in my case and connected to the wifi - try it Good Luck

I've seen some wi-fi systems that just don't play well. I run into this at coffee shops. Generally, 3 people swearing at laptops means the iPad will not connect.

I hose this problem don't occur when I'm in school.

I work in a hotel and this is a common problem.

Go into your system preferences on the iPad and turn off the Auto-Fill feature.

You should be able to sign on to any hotel network once you`ve done this.

For some reason almost every hotel network reacts this way with the iPad.
