Where did my audiobooks go?

Hi, I'm a brand new member who hopes to find some answers. After installing the new updates on my iPad I lost the iPod button on the home screen which is where audiobooks used to be downloaded to. Instead I now have a Music button. I've tried to transfer WMA audiobooks from my computer to my iPad with no success. Either they're not downloading or they are stored somewhere I can't find. I would greatly appreciate any help you more experienced users can give me.
