when I plug my ipad into the computer by USB, the itunes screen comes up in Japanese

I have just got my ipad 2 and have managed everything successfully so far, except that now i want to sync it with itunes, and when I plug it in via the usb. the opening screen for the ipad on itunes comes up in Japanese and I can't find any way of changing it. Any advice please?

Just solved it by downloading the new version of itunes 10.5 but will leave this post in case anyone else has the same problem.

Regarding your question, have a look at your iPad's settings. Go to Settings > General > International > Region Format. See that it's set to your region.
