So, something odd for you all :). I think my ipad cover is possessed. After setting my ipad2 on a metal patio table, the case magnets lost their strength and when attached to the ipad, would send a shock through it. It's weeks later now, and the magnets work fine on other metal objects, but will still 'shock' the ipad if I try to attach it. Clearly its sending a jolt of electricity through it, or the polarization of the magnets got reversed or something...any ideas on what I can do to reverse it again so the cover will work once more without causing potential damage?

Thanks in advance,

Angela, who loves her ipad2 and doesn't want it to get scratched. :)

Are you sure you are trying to put it on the correct side? Trying to "lock" it on the opposite can cause an appearance of not working.
