Web addresses and phone numbers not linkable in calendar invites

The web addresses and the phone numbers are not linkable in the standard iPad 2 calendar invites (in the notes) They are in my iPhone 4' in the notes). Both are set up with iOS 4.3.5. None are jail broken. This is more than annoying, as it prevents me to use ATT connect web meeting on my iPad if I am not the one initiating the call.

Edit: I meant to add, am I missing any settings on the ipad2?

Maybe I need to have more clarity. In my iPhone 4 if there is a phone number or a web site address in the note of a calendar entry, the phone number or the web address become a hot/active link.

On the iPad 2, the phone number or the web address are NOT active.

Is there a setting somewhere to make the phone number or the web address active.

Both units have the same iOS 4.3.5 and they are NOT jail broken.

I can see a reason why the phone number won't be active (the ipad isn't a phone), not sure why weblinks don't work tho.

Yes makes sense for the phone number. In any case, it is the web address I need. It is not working on both invites or in the notes of appointments I have entered.

This issue has gone away after I installed ios5. I am not sure it has been solved due to ios5 or due to a reset of settings I did a week before.

My iPad calendar note links are not active - yours are ? My iOS is 5.0.1

Would be very helpful if they could be made active.
