Watching live TV on an iPad 1

Can anyone tell me if I am able to watch LIVE BBC and ITV using the ipad.

I am aware that on my ipod touch I can't watch because I can't download the javascript app required. Is this the same for the ipad.

I can watch the BBC iplayer and the ITV equivelant and I can watch some SKY channels live using the Sky Go app....but what about LIVE BBC 1 and 2 and ITV

Don't know if it helps but the one I am looking at would have wi-fi and not 3g.

Yes, there are a couple of apps for this, FilmOn and TVCatchUp and best of all they are both free......and they have many, many channels as well as those that you have mentioned.

My personal favourite is FilmOn, I have both because you just never know!
