VGA adapter assistance

Does the VGA adapter fit both the Ipad2 and iPad? The apple website says it does, but mine did not fit - the connector was wider than the slot on the Ipad2. Thanks

It is supposed to - the connectors are identical in size. I would go to an Apple Store and let them fit it for you.
