A anyone considering moving from the ipad 4 to the ipad Air? Does the air have finger print technology like the iPhone 5S?

Apple never confirmed that the fingerprint was going to be a feature on the iPad air or the retina display mini. Unless I misread, however, all the write ups have just been talks of. So really it wasn't a sham, but only a rumor. No fingerprint which is a sham.

Is anyone buying? I'm uncertain whether to sell my current ipad to upgrade to this.
He might've meant shame rather than sham.
Yes I meant shame not sham teach me to check before I send.
Thanks Dave!Well, I have an iPad 2 and will be definitely upgrading (probably after the holidays), BUT I'm assuming you are asking whether to go from your iPad 4 to the Air? The attached image compares the specs of the two devices - you'll gain a thinner & lighter iPad + a newer A7 processor (+ M7) - the iPad 4 was released in early November 2012, so you've owned the device for less than a year. Just a few considerations - I'd probably wait but that 30% or so reduction in weight and the thinner profile are obviously quite appealing, especially if one travels a lot w/ the iPad - good luck on your selection. One reason some people buy the LTE version, even if they never activate a data plan, is for the GPS capability. That's why I purchased a WiFi + cellular iPad 3 last spring.I will be upgrading my 128gb Retina display ipad for an iPad air, again 128gb and space grey, not sure about the LTE model though as ive never used it with any of my iPad models, probably go with Wifi only this time
