Does anyone know how to get rid of the updates listed on the app store if you do not want them? For instance I have some on the list that are for increased stability on iPad 2 ( I have first version). Or upgrade for game center integration, which I have absolutely no interest in. I live in a rural area and we are limited on our usage (only 375MB per day). And therefore I do not want to download needless things, and yet I want the constant reminders on the icon to go away. Any advice would be appreciated!

It's not possible, I'm afraid. Unwanted update notifications cannot be removed.
