Unable to delete items

Help! I'm approaching my memory limit and wish to delete some media items, but am unable to do so.

Clicking on iTunes, Music, or Videos; taping and holding on items, does NOTHING. No Xs. Also tried syncing to iTunes on my PC, but cannot get 'tunes' to sense my pad.

Why is the tap-hold-delete thing working. Help.

To delete music, go to your songs and swipe to the left to bring up the delete tab.

For videos or movies you will find an Edit tab, press this and you will see little X's on each video/movie to delete, press Done when finished.

Thanks, that did it. It also worked for the music videos. I'm ashamed to admit that I'm a bit (a lot) overdue at the eye doctor's. Did not see the edit link. Mission accomplished.

And what do you know, I have an appointment with my optometrist this afternoon.....just loathe that my eyesight isn't what it once was!
