MacStories reports today that Twitter’s iOS app has just had an update which adds support for the iPad 2’s camera. If you update your iPad 2 to Twitter 3.3.2, you’ll see that there’s now a little camera icon in the “New Tweet†box. If you select this icon, you’ll then be given the choice to upload pictures or videos from your library, or take a new photo or video right then and there, then send it online. The update also brings with it several bug fixes, such as the disabling of “significant location change monitoring†which was leading to the compass appearing constantly when in app, as well as bug fixes from various user reported crashes. And, as MacStories points out, thankfully the update does not bring the extremely unpopular “Quick Bar†that was added to the iPhone version of Twitter back at the beginning of March, but was left off the iPad version back then.
