Is it possible to get foreign radio stations using this app? I'd like to be able to listen to the French radio station RTL and would like to know prior to purchasing the app. Does anyone know of any other apps that allow you to listen or get news/radio in french? Thanks.

Absolutely you can. TuneIn is a brilliant app. Fully integrated with Google Maps, so you can surf the world and choose the radio station by location - even the Antarctic! It's integrated too with the iPad's GPS so, when you're in an unfamiliar location, you can ask for a list of 'local' radio stations. It can record programs, streams via 3G - so great if you're on the road - just too many features to mention. This absolutely has to be the best value app - very smooth design, you can 'feel' the thought and effort that went in to the design.

Works in the background too - even when the iPad is in 'Sleep' mode - even with 3G.
