Trouble with PDF.

When I would send pdf's from my desktop to my ipad --- they would go into my bookshelf with a title I gave them from my desktop. Now all they do when I save them to my bookshelf I only have letters and numbers.
i.e QL-ELq60bdx ----- No name- just letters and numbers. It Just started doing that. Can anyone help me?

I get this with certain documents. You can rename them in iTunes.
