Thread deletion?

Does it ever happen, that a whole thread gets deleted?

I could swear I posted in one just a while ago, but can't find any reference to it anymore.

not on this forum but on a sister forum for the Incredible. Since its run by the same company I wonder if perhaps some site maintenance that causes it?

Not sure what the thread title was, but it was a fairly pointless topic of one person complaining on how no one helped him within one day. And as a result it wouldn't share the answer to the original problem.
