That Tips app

While waiting for the coffee water to boil this morning I decided to check out the Tips app that I noticed after installing iOS 8. There is a tip about including a sound recording in the iMessages app. There is also a little video example. I didn't get it at first.

My first reaction was, "A violin, duh!" OK, I have to admit that I play violin in the local orchestra. I certainly didn't take it as 'what song is she playing?' - Fid

I skimmed through the tips pretty fast; didn't pay much attention to the details.

That's a cute example, and suggests the possibility of using the feature in more creative ways than simple audio messages.
