Syncronising with PC

Hi, each time I syncronise my Ipad with my PC I get duplicate former calendar entries as well as the new ones. Is there some way I can avoid this repetition?

Most likely cause of this is that you are syncing the calendar via two methods. Probably via itunes and over the air (to icloud perhaps), switch one of the methods off.
