swapping an att micrsom from ipad to ipad

I am in Australia. On a recent trip to USA i used the ATT microsim from a friend's ipad that was purchased in USA but never activated.

I started an att account and then cancelled it 3 weeks later when I left USA. I now want to give the same ATT microsim to my father for his trip to USA with his new iPad 2.

Can someone confirm that the microsim can be moved from ipad to ipad with a new att account?

I just moved my AT&T sim card from my iPad 1 to my iPad 2. No problems and very easy to do.

Can i buy an IPad 2 3G (AT&T) from the US and use it in the middle east?
