Ya it is a bit much for speakers, but I guess if thats what works for some people all for it, me I just use cheap speakers that sund good lol

Why not just the apple dock with a nice speaker setup?

Everyones situation is different..

If at work, I'd just buy a nice pc speaker system with a subwoofer with a apple dock. It'd keep things good lookin and option to use other devices

I use a portable powered one best buy sells them for like 17 I got mine for 12 it kicks butt, and I have one that is battery powered has 2 speakers and lights up with the music got that one on sale for 6 both work very well, are they really fancy well no lol but they do work
