Sound tone when connecting to charger

Simple question . The sound that is made when confirming a connection to a charging source is no longer audible. Is there a setting or is this a fault ? Thanks for an answer

Hello & welcome to the forum - hope that you enjoy!

First, I'm assuming that you are using the 10W charger that came w/ the iPad and that you previously had heard that little bleep sound?

Second, are you hearing other sounds from the iPad? If not, have you checked to see if the muting switch (right upper corner) has been turned to OFF? If not have you changed any sound settings? These are all simple checks - if that is not the issue, please post back - good luck!

You've probably got Mute turned on. It is either set with the switch above the volume rockers or form the multitask bar controls (tap home twice and slide icons left), depending on what you've got it set to in Settings > General.
