I'm used to working with a PC & mouse, where selecting text for copy/paste is easy (click, drag, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, etc etc). How do I do it on the iPad? I've noticed if you double-tap a word, it is selected, but how do I select a sentence or paragraph, or a web link?

Sorry for the noooooob question!

Drag the blue bubble's edges after hitting select. You can choose what to copy that way. Alternatively, you could "select all" on a paragraph. Sometimes it selects the whole page, which can be annoying.

Thanks for this hint.
I got that blue bubble thing once, but can't replicate how I got it. After I do a copy, how do I paste it somewhere.
Thanks in advance.

To select a word or passage, press your finger/stylus until the options appear, then choose "select" and drag the blue bubbles to get the text you require and choose "copy".

Then, go to where you want to paste it, press-hold-adjust to get the right place, then choose "paste". :)

Thanks for the reply, I got it now. This was today's big quest for me. Success is sweet ::)

Hi, I was happy to learn that I can copy my email address and it will save a long time so I can paste it into all those pesky 'enter your email boxes'. Helpful since I havent found a way for it to auto pre fill. Has anyone else?
