Hello,

I am writing a website specifically for iPad Safari.

I have the following type of html code:

<input type="date" size="30" style="font-size:30px;width:200px;"/>

I would like to increase the width of this html element, but whatever I do it does not increase in size.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks for any response.

Hmmm Something is sure goofy there. In the build window it stays the same size no matter what the width is but in the preview window the size increases when the width syntax is changed.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out why I can't make it increase in width.

I'm new to iPad web design, so I don't know how to fix this issue, or if there is a fix at all.

Try this and see if it works for you

<p><input type="date" font-size="30" size="50"></p>
