If I use ICU and configure a strong passcode for accessing my device: alpha-numeric, special characters, if I need to restore my device will I have any issues. I was told this causes problems for an iPhone, because after the restore the keyboard does not display, only the number pad.
I was told the only method to resuce the device is put it back to factory default, and reapply and ICU policies.
I plan on forcing a wipe of my iPad (via bad password attempts) and trying the restore. However, I want to make sure I do not brick the device. Will I be able to rescue the device?
I would appreciate any advice. (Note: The device is not jailbroken)
