Restore iPhone BU to iPad from iCloud?

I m using an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2 with iCloud.

Am I able to restore an iPhone backup to an iPad?

What is the result?

Can I still fully reset the iPad afterwards to restore to a previous iPad BU?
