Profile picture wrong

Using Facebook on my new I-pad and my profile photo has been replaced by one of my FB friend's photos. However when I access FB through any other device ( pc, blackberry) I see MY profile picture. Everyone else can see my profile picture except me on the I- pad. Anyone know what this is all about?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Regarding your question, are you using the app? If you are or even one of the other apps to access FB closing it completely and then relaunching it may fix the problem. Do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button and this will bring up your multi task bar along the bottom which shows all the apps that you have opened. Long press the app until it begins to jiggle and red minus signs will appear above all the apps. Press the minus sign and this will close the app not delete it. It's a good idea to close all your apps completely, as this will help to keep your ipad running smoothly. Let us know how you go.

Hi,
When I open facebook on my ipad, my church's FB page shows up but their logo picture is my friends picture??? When I open FB on my iphone or my pc, the church's logo shows up correctly for their page??? I tried closing all the open apps, rebooting the ipad and even unsubscibed from my friend and it still shows incorrectly on my ipad. I'm lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, figured it out. The Facebook app on my ipad was the problem. I deleted it and reloaded (apparently a newer version) and the correct picture shows up for the page I'm viewing. Perhaps this is why the app has a low rating? Hope this helps others.

I've never heard of that happening before and I'm glad you got it sorted and thanks for posting your answer to it, it very well may help someone else.
