It won't let me upload any more of my cute pictures of my cat, Paisley -- the app keeps giving me an error. I will surely post more pics later. But this is Paisley, arguably the love of my life. 8 years old in this picture, 11 now.

We have another saying.
She won cattslotto!
Our coco is very much loved.

Aww, that's so good to hear. My cat is incredibly loved and spoiled.. I rescued her from a kill shelter at 8 years old. So I want her to be treated like a princess for the rest of her life - she deserves it! :)

Don't you wish you could just take them all. I used to work at the SPCA in San Francisco and we put so many kittens, puppies, dogs, cats, to sleep daily. It was the most awful job ever.

People who don't spay and neuter their pets, then bring all the litters to us to find homes, and we tell them after four days, or if we are all full, IF you leave this litter here they all will be euthanized immediately. PLEASE find them a home on your own.

Do they? Hell No.

It's shocking to think people can be so irresponsible .
I think you should require a license to own a pet.
Keep ownership for those who really care.
makes me sad to think of all those little animals......
With so much love to give.

Yes, I wish I could take them all!! I walk the dogs at our Humane Society. I want a dog so much it hurts, but I can't have one where I live nor do I have the money. So I get my dog fix that way. I can't even LOOK at the cats when I'm there because they meow at me and it just kills me! I know Paisley wouldn't like a friend.. She's set in her ways and is quite a nervous cat. Luckily the shelter I work at doesn't euthanize, otherwise I definitely couldn't work there.

Oh gosh, just hated reading that, but it's so true, happens here all the time. I don't know how you handled that, the heartbreak would have been just awful. I would sooo want to take them all home.
Many years ago I was walking along a street one day and a car passing threw something into the bushes, I went to investigate what it was, it was a tiny black kitten, covered in excrement. I took him home, cleaned him, went to a vet. They thought he was about 3 weeks old, had to get special milk to feed him. But he thrived and I loved him so. He was more human than cat. He use to get so jealous if my boyfriend (now husband) sat beside me or kissed me, Souki would push his way between us and put his paws either side of my face to kiss me. He slept on my back every night. Such memories of a dear dear animal that someone just discarded so cruelly.
